The student knows materials handling and warehousing as part of the logistic process. Student knows materials handling and warehousing from inventory management, warehouse finance and processes point of view.

Content

The main contents include:
role of the warehousing and materials handling, inventory management principles, inventory management methods, Top manager -game, warehouse processes and warehouse finance.

Qualifications

The students are able to find information independently and to prepare reports. They can apply mathematics to practical examples, like mechanics.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Excellent (5)
The students have attained an excellent level in the objectives. In addition, they have shown active participation during the instruction.
Good (3-4)
The students have attained a good level in the objectives. Their activity during the instruction has been irregular.
Satisfactory (1-2)
The students know the basics and understand how to apply their knowledge according to the objectives. Their activity has been irregular during the instruction.
