Objective
The students know the basic statics and dynamics of fluids and gases, thermology and heat transfer, and can apply their knowledge to practical problem solving.
                    
Content
Hydrostatic pressure, Archimede's law, uplift, surface tension, capillary effect, flow dynamics (continuity equation, Bernoulle's law, Venturi tube, Pitot tube), viscosity, resistance of medium, heat amount, heat expansion, ideal gas equation of state, kinetic gas theory, thermal capacities of solid matters, fluids and gases; changes in state, air humidity, heat transfer forms.
