Measurement Technology (3cr)

Objective

The students have basic knowledge and skills in measuring and can use common workshop measuring equipment, considering the factors which cause uncertainty of measurement. The students understand what the production of quality is, and regard it as part of normal work.

Content

Calculation of the most common measuring errors, uncertainty of measurement, and reducing them; choice of measuring tool; production of quality.
All the students perform individual measurements in the laboratory.

General upper secondary school
