The students master the comprehensive implementation of a design project utilizing project working methods. The students are able to exploit the knowledge learned in other courses in implementing the project.

Qualifications

The students master the comprehensive implementation of a design project utilizing project working methods. the students are able to exploit the knowledge learned in other courses in implementing the project. The students understand the total operation of a paper mill. The students understand both the incoming and the outgoing logistics of the total operation of a paper mill and they can use the acquired knowledge in the layout design. The students understand the different phases of layout design and their connections to each other. The students have the capability to design layout solutions for different parts of a paper mill and they are able to act as designers in bigger projects. The students can design the pipework and choose the related components.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Excellent (5) the student has attained the objectives of the course at an excellent level.
Good (3-4) the student has attained the objectives of the course at a satisfactory level.
Satisfactory (1-2) as a rule, the student has attained the objectives of the course.
