Objective
The students understand the connection between an object’s motion, position, speed, acceleration, time, and active forces. They understand the concepts and phenomena of mechanics of vibrations, the theoretical models of different vibrations, and the principles of avoiding harmful vibrations in machine building. The participants can also identify vibration systems with several degrees of freedom.
Content
Vibrators and their equations of motion. Defining damping and the transfer of vibration caused by restraint action. Forming equations of motion for vibrators with several degrees of freedom, and solving them with matrix calculation. Graphs of equations of motion.
