Objective
The objective of the course is to give an overview of international business management concepts and practices. The course will explore the cultural, political, and the technological environment in which MNCs operate across national boundaries, and the impact of the environment on the functional areas of marketing, human resource management and global sourcing. A special attention will be given to some of the current issues in international business, including the issues of sustainable development, emerging markets, impact of globalization, and corporate social responsibility. Throughout the course students will be exposed to comparative analysis of practices among MNCS from different countries.
