Empowering Counselling Methods (5cr)

Objective

The students master the skills to use the certain empowering counselling methods at individual and group-levels. The student can evaluate and develope the counseling in the field of her own area of expertise to promote the health, functional capacity and participation of their own client groups.

Content

Empowerment Counseling. Group counseling. Phone and virtual counseling, Dialogical Network.

Qualifications

Bacchelors´degree

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

5 (excellent), 4 (very good), 3 (good), 2 (satisfactory) ja 1 (sufficient). The grade is 0 (F Fail), if the student fails to achieve the objectives set for the course.
Assessment is based on the relation of student’s knowledge, skills and common qualification with the learning goals (European Qualifications Framework NQF/EQF, level 7). The assessment criteria of the course can be found in online learning environment.
