Objective

The students are able to anticipate changes in the service and operating environment affecting the wellbeing of social and health service clients, as well as the prospects for development in Finland and Europe. They learn the tools of multi-professional management for the development of social and health services. The participants strengthen their networks with the governance related to wellbeing, and are aware of both public and personal ways to manage and influence the promotion of wellbeing among the population.

Content

Developmental trends in social and health services in Finland and Europe, modern conceptions of wellbeing and clients' service expectations, multiprofessional and governance management, the public governance process, the latest welfare standards.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Active participation in contact and online study. Independent online assignment applied to each student's area of expertise. The applied assignment is assessed according to criteria specified in R5.
