Objective

The students understand the basics of the business process and its elements, the fundamentals of its management, the duties of a manager, organizing, the different functions of enterprises and related objectives, and the principles of networking.

Content

The business process (operating principle, business idea, competitive advantage, goals, objectives, the significance of victory, etc.), the two sides of management, manager’s tasks (performance, profitability of work, social responsibility), organizing and organizational models, the functions and objectives of a company, the basics of networking.

Qualifications

Basic business knowledge.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Assessment criteria: 1) active class participation; 2) ability to work in groups and present results orally and in writing; 3) quality of the written assignment of independent study; 4) exam based on lectures and literature. A pass requires 44% of the total score, excellent 90% of total score.
