Working Life Licence (3cr)

Objective

After this course students:
- are able to their own strengths and professional development targets and know how to use them in the job-hunting
- are able to create job applications and other documents
- know their working life rights and duties that are based on the laws and contracts. Furthermore they are able to get information about them.
- know the basics of collective agreements and working laws and learn their practicing in the common problematic situations of working life.
- understand the importance of well-being from the individual and working life perspectives.

Content

There is three modules in this course:
1) A skillful jobseeker
2) Working life rules, collective bargaining and labor legislation
3) Occupational health and safety, well-being and labor social security

Qualifications

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Completion of the course requires all of the tasks assigned to do: multiple-choice tasks in internet, written assignments and learning diary.
