Further information
The evaluation is carried out with the evaluation of the subject based assignments and the exam. Assignments forms 60% of the final grade and the exam 40%. In this course we are using peer-evaluation as a basis for the feedback.

Six learning modules and assignments related to the subjects, 10h/each, altogether 60h
An exam corresponding to the ISTQB Foundation level certification (certification not included), 20h
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Satisfactory (1-2): The student understands the levels of testing. He/she has difficulties to understand the concepts of testing. He/she can work as a tester in guidance of a more experienced tester.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
Goog (3-4): The student understands the main concepts and functions. He/she can work as a test designer and tester in different stages of the development.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Excellent (5): The student understands the concepts of testing and its role as a part of software engineering. The student can work as an testing manager in real life SW projects.

Teaching methods
This course is conducted online. The course has different study modules that are scheduled to be opened. You will familiarize with the subject and accomplish the assignments related to the subject. They mostly include individual tasks but also requires group based work. There are also some webinars that are to be recorded for further use. Peer-evaluation is used to give wider understanding of the subjects.
