Objective

The object of the course
The course gives you tools for your studies. You will learn how to search for high-quality information from a wide variety of information sources. You will learn to use these sources in various learning tasks. After the course, you will be able to apply Jamk's reporting guidelines and follow the ethical principles in reporting.

Face-to-face implementation.

Extra webinar or workshop on reporting possibly on 07.02.2025 09.00 - 10.30 Zoom or F2F at Language Centre (most likely compulsory to the students who fail the 1st resit)

Completion of the course requires independent preparatory work (flipped learning), participation in the workshop and lectures, and completion of exercises and the assignment, exam paper.

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and online generators in general is allowed only with creating in-text citations and references.

Exam schedules

The course commences with a library section, encompassing the study of materials, information retrieval, and assignments. The Reporting segment involves the completion of 2-3 exercises and an assignment (exam paper).

Content scheduling
