Objective
The student
 •	recognises the operations field of the tourism and hospitality sector and the key factors that impact this
 •	learns to act responsibly in different tasks within the hospitality sector
 •	is able to participate as a responsible member in multidisciplinary and multicultural working groups
 •	is able to analyse and assess his/her own actions and work as part of the operations of a service organisation
 • can retrieve and use field-specific information in a critical and ethical way. They can prepare an informative, written presentation for a target audience with linguistic and visual elucidation. 
 • can also apply the JAMK reporting instructions in their written assignments and use their sources accordingly.

 • Safety and security training
 • Alcohol passport
 • Hygiene passport
 • Work experience in service and production tasks within the Marata studying environment.
 • Information retrieval (in cooperation with the library)
 • Production of clear, illustrative texts in a formal style
 • Self-assessment of project work
