Objective

The students are able to apply juridical orders regarding the rights and duties of employee and employer to various situations and stages of employment both in the role of employee and employer.

They are able to consider personnel management as a process, to place its elements to the level of strategic and operational management, and to actively participate in competence development projects and the application of personnel management systems.
The students are able to manually perform common calculations with the basic concepts of payroll administration and to participate in filling the reporting obligations of payroll administration.

After the communication skills section, the students are able to assess oral communication situations and their own speech communication skills, as well as those of the others. They are able to choose efficient communication strategies for professional contexts and to act in recruitment situations both as employer and employee.

Content

Work contracts, conditions of employment, termination of employment. Organizational behaviour, personnel management; recruitment, development and motivation of staff. Organizational culture, leadership, management. Basic concepts and common (manual) calculations of payroll administration. Reporting. Work-life communication and interaction skills.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Class participation, reporting skills, presentation skills, teamwork skills. Mastery of subject and concepts in the exam.
