Objective
The students master the central models describing cultural differences and can use them to analyze the business cultures of various countries. They are able to recognize the main differences between national business cultures and adjust their activities accordingly.
Content
Business culture and its relation to national culture; the impact of differences in business culture on international business; the cultural models of Hofstede, Hall, Trompenaars and Schein, and their use & restrictions in analyzing business cultures.
Qualifications
The students master the basics of internationalization in a company and understand the role of an international operating environment for the internationalization of a company.
