Objective
The students understand the significance of facility services for the business taking place in a facility. They perceive service production as a holistic entity: client’s activities as the starting point, alternative ways of organizing the service, the resources of the service, a result benefiting the client. They are able to evaluate the service production process, perceive human activity in a work situation, and to consider work science perspectives in the process. They are familiar with the significance of service production control for the service entity. They know how to use facility service planning software, how to apply the knowledge to facility service control, and how to use professional literature.
