Counselling in Client Work and Teamwork Competences (6cr)

Objective

The students have sufficient basic skills for the guidance tasks of client work and team leadership. They also have a basic ability to develop client work and services and to supervise them, and to financial administration. In addition, the students evaluate the functionality of the work community and the skills of the personnel as well as the wellbeing at work place in order to find ways to strengthen them

Team leadership and guidance of client work: personnel administration and policy, the organisation and planning of work, financial administration
Management ideas and management psychology
Initiative in managerial work and a network-oriented approach
Work development methods and quality development work
Mentoring; on-the-job training
Meeting and negotiation skills

Qualifications

The students have developed extensive competencies in client work and service systems through their earlier professional studies and practical training.
