Objective

The students know the basics of personnel management and task areas of information systems in the social field. In addition, they can influence decision-making in service and decision-making systems. The students know the possibilities of entrepreneurship as the producer of social and health care services. The students know the possibilities and barriers of the third sector and voluntary work in service production and their culture of operation.

Possibilities and tasks of Bachelor of Social Services as the one implenting the basic task of the service unit and as an influencer.
Task areas of administrative know-how
Municipal decision-making and influencing
Collective and office agreements
Work-related protection and wellbeing
Information systems, documenting
Entrepreneurship in social and health care and starting points of entrepreneurship.
Networks supporting entrepreneurship.
Role and significance of associations, organisations and civic and voluntary work in the production of services and social support.
Basics of associations.

Qualifications

The students have obtained extensive customer work and service system skills in professional studies and practice and they know the basics of customer work guidance and work community know-how

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Active participation in contact lessons and visits, independent and group work, exam
