Objective

The students are able to reduce expressions, write and solve equations and systems of equations, and draw and analyze graphs of real functions. They know the calculation rules of matrices, how to solve percentage calculations, and how to use arithmetical and geometrical progression. They master the efficient use of calculator in the applications.

Content

Reduction of expressions: powers, polynomes, rational expressions, radical expressions; approximation and quantity calculation; solving an equation: algebra equations, radical equations, exponential equations, logarithmic and trigonometric equations; linear groups of equations; proportionality; solving a problem with an equation; percentage and interest calculations, discounting; arithmetic and geometric series; functions: polynomial functions, exponential functions, logarithmic functions, and trigonometric functions.

Qualifications

Good mastery of comprehensive school mathematics

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Three intermediate exams; or exemption test at the beginning if necessary
