Objective

The students can simplify and handle expressions, write and solve equations and systems of equations, as well as draw and analyse characteristics of real functions. They can solve percentage and interest calculations and use arithmetic and geometric series. They master the efficient use of calculator in the applications.

Content

Simplifying of expressions: involutions, polynomes, rational expressions, radical expressions; solving of equations: algebraic equations, radical equations, exponential equations, logarithmic and trigonometric equations; linear systems of equations; proportionality, percentage calculation; arithmetic and geometric series; functions: polynomial functions, exponential functions, logarithmic functions; the basic concepts of geometry; right-angled triangle and its trigonometry; limit value and continuity of function; queues and series
