You will understand the significance of product development operations in commercial business activities. You will get basic understanding of product development that it is systematic work and process thinking and understanding. You will understand and know the phases of a product development process from a customer’s need to a product document. You will learn different project management tools and practices. You learn also how to use creative working methods in creation and problem solving. You will understand the meaning of immaterial rights and patents. You will develop your skills as a team member and also as a team leader of a product development team.

There is exam at the end of the course. Two resits after that based on JAMK orders.

Team exercise work including self-reliant work 90 h.
