Descriptions
The scope of the degree program in life cycle management is 60 credits. The education is multidisciplinary and versatile. The study consists of core studies that increase life-cycle expertise, as well as management and development studies that supplement it. In the thesis, you can solve a problem arising from working life or a development task by applying researched knowledge and your own expertise.
Development
In the planning and development of the degree program, representatives of working life as well as university experts and students from different fields have been involved. The education is continuously developed based on feedback from working students.
Further information
The program is carried out as an online course, having remote contacts on weekdays in the afternoon or on Saturdays. There are online meetings 2-4 times a month, and between them you study independently or in small groups.
Objective
In the life cycle management master program, you will acquire the knowledge, skills and capabilities to develop your own expertise and the organization you represent. You will focus on the technical phases of the product and service life cycle, the development of reliability, procurement management, asset management and sustainable development. You will learn know how to coordinate the business and technical requirements of the service provider, buyer and user. You will learn life cycle management development methods and be able to apply them in your own field. After the program, you are ready to lead the life cycle management of your organization with the help of information and its analysis.
