Objective

The student is able to:
-determine the maintenance resources and actions during the life cycle of the system
-to plan maintenance processes and to execute daily maintenance administration
-to be responsible or partially responsible of a maintenance outsourcing contract
-understand the significance of data management in maintenance
-create KPI's for maintenance
-understand the common maintenance analysis.

Maintenance as a service (outsourcing), life cycle management, maintenance KPIs, Maintenance operations management, preventive maintenance planning, maintenance data management, maintenance analysis and condition based maintenance.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Excellent (5): The student masters the essential concepts and methods of life cycle services and is able to apply them in a critical and innovative manner in developing the challenges created by one's duty.

Very good (4): The student masters the essential content of the course and is able to utilize the learned methods extensively and fairly. He is also able to compare the different methods with each other.

Good (3): The student masters the essential content of the course and is able to apply it.

Satisfactory (2): The student knows the principles of life cycle services and has a limited ability to apply the learned methods.

Adequate (1):The student masters the basic knowledge and skills covered by the course.
