Objective
The students are able to recognize opportunities and challenges from changes in the global environment. They are able to formulate new strategies to respond to these changes. They understand how the organisation can gain competitive advantage and also how managers implement the strategic planning process.
Content
Corporate vision, strategic positioning, globalization, competitive strategy, corporate strategy, industry analysis, value chain analysis, SWOT analysis, strategy canvas, blue ocean strategy, shared value creation, and design thinking.

BBA in business or economics or equal
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
1 (Sufficient): The student is aware of opportunities and challenges from changes in the global environment.
2 (Satisfactory): The student also knows about the strategic planning process and its basic elements.
3 (Good):The student can also conduct industry analysis and value chain analysis.
4 (Very good): The student can also build appropriate strategies for a company to gain competitive advantage.
5 (Excellent): The student is also able to apply the advanced concepts of shared value creation and design thinking in strategy development.
