Objective

The student is familiar with the basics of social and health care (family work in particular), the basics of consulting work, and the relevant legal and ethical justifications. The student has a grasp of substance and process consultation as well as the basic principles of dialogue-based guidance. The student can apply solution-oriented process consultation and KORKO consultation techniques under the guidance theme selected by the student.

Qualifications

Family as a Phenomenon and Social Expertize (YSSA0100), Methods and Approaches to Strengthen Parenting and Spousal Relationship (YSSM0200) or, alternatively, one year of Master's degree studies in social and health studies

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The learning outcomes of individual courses are assessed in relation to the objectives of the course concerned. Assessment is based on knowledge, skills and competence in accordance with the National and European Qualifications Framework (NQF/EQF), level 7.

If the student does not meet the minimum criteria set for the course, the grade is 0 (Fail).

1(Adequate)-2(Satisfactory):
The student is aware of the possibilities of consulting work as part of development work and has mastered the basics of process and consulting work.

3(Good)-4(Very good):
The student understands the many possibilities of the consultative work method and is familiar with the basic principles of process and substance consultation.

5(Excellent)
The student has, through peer sparring and written proficiency tests, shown that he/she has mastered the basics of process and substance consultation, and is able to apply this expertise.

Grading Scale 0–5
Accreditation: The Prior Learning Recognition Procedures are described in the Degree Regulations and in the Study Guide. The teacher of the course can provide more information on any special practices related to the course.
