Objective
The students understand the basics of digital and analog sound editing, sound recording, processing, packing, and transfer. They know related basic terminology and can use sound editing software. They know the basics of recording both in studio and field conditions, and can apply their knowledge in Internet and multimedia environments.
The students master the basics of planning and implementing a video production. They are familiar with the use of digital video tools and they master the production processes needed in different distribution formats.
The students are familiar with professional TV and other media production environments. The students can apply their video content competence in an internal project or in a project assigned by an external customer.
Content
Sound editing through assignments with editing software, field recording and studio components. Assignments on the basics and possibilities of audio expression, audio observation in different environments.
The basics of video and editing. The independent implementation of a short video production from out-line to a completed video. A brief tv-studio process exercise.
