Objective
The students know the stages of the project cycle. They demonstrate initiative, development-oriented approach, and problem-solving and decision-making skills when implementing concrete, small-scale R&D tasks or projects. They can act in multiprofessional teams and R&D tasks, and can apply the main research methods and methods developing working life appropriately. They can report on the results of their work according to the requirements of the task.

Project planning and reporting.
JUA's R&D projects in cooperation with working life.
Organisation-based development assignments.
Qualifications
The students know the essential basics of R&D.

The learning outcomes are assessed in relation with the learning objectives of the course. The grading scale of the course is pass (0) / fail (S). The grade is 0 (F Fail), if the student fails to achieve the objectives set for the course.
Pass: The student is able to acquire and estimate information and to share it in order to complete a R&D assignment. S/he masters the stages of project cycle and is able to apply them in the plans of a R&D assignment and creation of a project plan.
S/he is able to complete the R&D assignment together with a team, using R&D methods.
S/he shows initiative and, together with a team, s/he is able to find solutions to the problems related to the assignment. S/he is able to present the results of the R&D assignment in writing and orally.
