Objective

The students have acquired the concept of creativity and the meaning of sensual events in aesthetic experiences. They are familiar with the principles of artistic learning and with the child's pictorial development's expression. The students gain acquaintance with children's literature and puppet theater as forms of art and educational tools. They are familiar with the integration of musical and pictorial expression and children literature. They are able to apply learned knowledge and skills in practice work with children.

Content

Basic knowledge of aesthetic education. The child's pictorial expression's development, the main pictorial art's areas, techniques, tools and materials theoretically and in practice. Diverse puppet-theater realisation forms and puppet kinds. Children literature genres. Integration of music with pictorial expression, puppet-theater and children literature.

Qualifications

The students are familiar with the principles of early age music education.
The student are able to use different working habits and methods in planning and implementing musical activities for children.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Pass (S)
The students are acquainted with expression through pictures, with children literature and pupett-theater and their contents, as well as the teaching materials thereof, and are able to adapt them for children guidance groups.The students are able to integrate music and other arts in their teaching. They work responsibly in group and in sharing their learning with others.
