Objective
The students achieve sufficient technical skills and repertoire knowledge in order to be able to work in musical tasks corresponding to their programme choice.

praise worthy 5. The performance is a convincing whole. The goal is achieved with excellence as concerns technique, expressiveness and artistic maturity. Musical communication and rendition are touching.
good 4. Secure rendition. Basic technical aspects are under control and goal achievement good. Many-sided expression and good style differentiation as far as atmosphere and character are concerned. The performer establishes contact with audience. The whole leaves something to be desired.
good 3. A functioning totality: basic factors all under control. There is room for development in technique and expression, which often bother the interpretation. The diverse style and characters of music are conveyed. Contact with audience functions for the most part.
Satisfactory 2. There are deficiencies in handling musical wholes and in technique. The general impression is one of task completion.
passing 1. Modest understanding of musical whole and deficiencies in technique. There are overall weaknesses.
fail 0. No understanding of performance situation or comprehension of musical wholes. Insufficient technique. Goals remain unachieved.
The students receive oral and written feedback after examination.
Performance of accepted examination level programme performed elsewhere can be accepted upon presentation of supporting evidence. Grade S
