Objective
The students master the mathematical methods included in business competence and can apply them to decision-making. They know the basic concepts of economics and can apply them to analyse microeconomics and macroeconomics phenomena.
Content
Business mathematics: percentage calculations, value added tax calculations, interest calculatioins, final value, current value, discounting, indexes, investment calculations.
Basics of economics:
microeconomics and macroeconomics.

Assessment is based on knowledge, skills and competence in accordance with the National and European Qualifications Framework, Level 6. The assessment criteria for individual courses are given in an annex to the implementation plan of the course.
