Objective
The student initiates the final project process and works on the project during the course. He/she is able to specify a problem in the research area and delimit it.
The student is familiar with the various phases of research processes that support development efforts, research strategies and the various alternatives of material collection. The student is able to select a suitable research approach and methods for his/her final project, apply these and justify his/her choices. He/she also has the ability to critically evaluate the reliability, strengths and weakness of his/her final project and the applicability of its results. The student is able to make use of quantitative and qualitative research software.
Content
Startings points of research work, the process, theme and objective of a final project, knowledge base, information acquistion skills, research communication, research task, research approaches, research methods, data collection methods, analysis and evaluation of results.
Research seminar I & II.
Qualifications
The student masters the basics of statistical research and has an adequate theoretical foundation in business skills in an area selected by him/her.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Assessment is based on knowledge, skills and competence in accordance with the National and European Qualifications Framework, Level 6.The assessment criteria for individual courses are given in an annex to the implementation plan of the course.
