Objective
The students master the basic operating principles and architecture of telecommunication systems.
Content
7-layer OSI-model, the concepts of tranfer technology, tranmission paths, tranmiter and receiver techniques, effective modulation methods (QPSK, DPSK, QAM, OFDM), the different factors in transfer medias (wired/wireless transfer, antennas), data streams, communication protocols,utilization rate, channel reservation.

Excellent 5: The student knows comprehensively the learning objectives of the module and he (she) can apply his knowledge to wide problems in the field of data transfer.
Very good 4: The student knows well the learning objectives of the module and he (she) can apply his knowledge to wide problems in the field of data transfer.
Good 3: The student knows the solutions of data transfer technics and he (she) can apply these to limited cases in the field of data communication.
Satisfactory 2: The student knows the basics of data transfer technics and he (she) can apply these to simple limited cases in the field of data communication.
Sufficient 1: The student knows the basics of data transfer technics and the simulation methods of practical applications.
