Objective
The students master the basics of modern wireless digital data transfer and understand the influence of different frequency ranges on the quality of data transfer. The students develop an overall picture of the current standard wireless data transfer systems and technologies.
Content
Regulation of radio frequencies, performance of wireless digital modulation methods in a fading channel, control of access to transmission path, telecommunication systems, satellite systems, broadcasting systems, mobile telecommunication (mobile-IP), the basics of wireless LAN technologies, interferences and data security.
