Objective

The students understand the design principles of digital videos and the sound world as part of digital media application. They are familiar with the recording, editing and publishing of sound and digital videos in suitable formats both on the Internet and in multimedia environments.

Content

Digital video, video editing, video formats, the publication of videos in different formats (multimedia application, DVD, Internet). The principles and editing of analog and digital sound. Treatment of sound dynamics and tone in theory and in practice. Sound file formats and publication for different purposes.

Excellent 5: The student masters comprehensively the video and audio standards and he (she) has versatile skills in video and audio editing, and he (she) can creatively realize impressive video clips for different platforms.
Very good 4: The student masters well the video and audio standards and he (she) has versatile skills in video and audio editing. He (she) can realize impressive video clips for different platforms.

Good 3: The student knows video and audio standards. He (she) has versatile skills in video and audio editing and publishing for different platforms.
Satisfactory 2: The student knows the basics of video and audio editing and he (she) can publish a video and audio product for different platforms.
Sufficient 1: The student knows the basics of video and audio editing and can publish a simple video and audio product for different platforms.
