Objective
The students understand the significance and role of the maintenance of a production plant or equivalent as the bearer of production efficiency. They know the content and significance of different maintenance strategies and they recognize the most typical methods behind these strategies. The students understand the operations management principles of maintenance and they perceive the most important themes of life cycle thinking. The students know the main factors of modern maintenance thinking and they perceive future development trends in different fields of maintenance.

Very good (4-5): The student masters the essential knowledge and skills required to get the grade Good (3) and can apply the knowledge acquired in a critical manner when solving a problem.
