Objective

The students master the basics of the most common workshop manufacturing methods and the machines used in them. The students understand how and with what methods the finished end products are attained.

Content

Traditional machining and welding methods and laboratory exercises.

Qualifications

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Very good (4-5): The student masters the essential knowledge and skills required to get the grade Good (3) and can technically compare different manufacturing methods.

Good (3): The student masters well the most common manufacturing methods used in mechanical engineering workshops and can plan a manufacturing chain starting from a raw material to an end product.

Satisfactory (1-2): The student is familiar with the most common production methods of the mechanical engineering workshops.

Assessment is based on the exam, assignments and laboratory work.
