Objective

The students are able to act as experts in environmental issues related to plant cultivation, domestic animal husbandry and forestry, as well as being able to plan environmental measures. They know measurement methods and the impact of environmental load in a catchment area on waters, and they are able to estimate the need for and impact of water conservation measures. They are able to make buffer zone plans. They are able to assess impacts of warming climate and consider soil protection in their activities.

Environmental management in plant cultivation, domestic animal husbandry and forestry; diversity, landscape, special environmental support plans; water, climate change, soil protection

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of plant cultivation, domestic animal husbandry and forestry

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Inexperienced performer (1-2)
o knows the impact of agricultural industries on the environment and methods to reduce environmental load

Developing performer (3-4)
In addition to the aforementioned:
o can create plans for reducing environmental load

Competent performer (5)
In addition to the aforementioned:
o can act as expert in rural environmental management and develop practices for improving the state of the environment
