Objective
The student has the theoretical and clinical competence gained from the vocational studies in the Degree Programme in Nursing.
The student is able to apply his/her development, innovation, research, project and entrepreneurial skills in developing midwifery. The student makes use of his/her specialist competence in a multi-professional work community. Together with others, he/she develops new, innovative practices and services to meet the needs of partners in co-operation.

Qualifications
The students master the theoretical and clinical skills that are part of vocational studies in customer-oriented nursing that promotes health and functional ability in the Degree Programme in Nursing.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student is able to acquire and evaluate information and share it with others in order to carry out research and development tasks.
The student knows the phases of the project cycle and can apply them to planning research/development tasks and preparing the project plan.
He/she can carry out the agreed research or development task together with the work group making use of various research and development methods.
The student shows initiative and is able to solve problems relating to the task with the work group.
Is able to communicate the output of his/her research/development task both in writing and orally.
