Objective

-With the help of a multi-professional peer group, the students form an idea about the significance of social and health care entrepreneurship in service production now and in the future.
-The students see entrepreneurship as one possible choice in their career. Based on the studies focused on entrepreneurship and on their own experiences, they are able to make a personal entrepreneurship study plan (yHOPS) which supports the progress of studies.
-The students learn to network with a multi-professional student group and with enterprises of the field and to market their own skills.
-In addition, they are able to assess their entrepreneurship skills and development needs in their entrepreneurship portfolio.

Content

-Supporting the entrepreneurial skills of the students with regular group and individual guidance.
-The students work on their personal entrepreneur study plan (yHOPS) and portfolio throughout the studies changing it as their studies progress and as their own objectives are specified.
-In addition, the students complete a group assignment on entrepreneurship in the social and health care field in an authentic and defined development project.

Qualifications

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

- In the entrepreneurship portfolio, the students show that they have achieved the objectives of the course and of his/her personal study plan. The process of learning is visible in the portfolio.
- The students participate in course activities in order to develop the expertise of their own and the group
