Objective

The student is capable of independent, evidence-based decision making as an expert of occupational therapy in multiprofessional cooperation in the student’s chosen area of expertise in occupational therapy. The student is able of critical self-assessment and critical assessment of his/her operational environment, as well as of developing these in accordance with ethical principles. The student plans, implements and assesses as well as develops their selected expertise in occupational therapy in a client-centered way utilising their multiple expertise.

Content

A command of evidence based decision-making in the field of the chosen area of occupational therapy.

Qualifications

The student demonstrates a command of knowledge, theory, key concepts and methods related to occupational therapy and their application.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Pass (S):
• is capable of independent evidence-based decision making as an expert in his/her profession and recognises his/her responsibility and limitations
• utilises multiprofessional and multiactor networks, as well as those that cross organisation boundaries (in order to solve and assess the client’s problems and needs).
•understands the questions related to interface data between his/her profession and different sciences and professions. Is able to apply multidisciplinary information from the viewpoint of his/her own professional position and area of responsibility.
•critically assesses his/her actions, operational environment and field.
•is capable of creative, client-focused and ethical development of operations.
•is able to supervise his/her own work
