Objective
The students understand the basics of the structure and functioning of the human body as well related central terminology. They can independently seek and use information on anatomy and physiology from different sources. The students can apply their knowledge on anatomy and physiology according to the requirements of their profession.
Content
Course includes sytology and histology, as well as contents related to the cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive and urinary systems. Furthermore, the course contains the nervous and humoral regulation of vital functions what comes to temperature, reproduction, fluid balance and metabolism.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The students show the skills in accordance with the objective of the course in the exams of the course. Exams will be evaluated acording the points.5 = Excellent - 90% of the answers are correct, 4 = Very Good - 80 % of the answers are correct, 3 = Good - 70 % of the answers are correct and 1 - 2 = Satisfactory 50-70 % of the answers are correct. 0 = Failed less than 50 % of the answers are correct.
