Objective

The student is familiar with the central structures and function of Finnish society and European Union and their impact especially on the rehabilitation.

The student knows the central rights and duties of a citizen and the legislation related to client´s and patient´s state and rights.

The students become activated to study and search for new impact possibilities so that they can guide and support clients in their rehabilitation.

Content

The structure and function of Finnish society. The rights, responsibilities and the impact possibilities of the citizen.
The European Union.

Pass
The student knows well the structures and function of the Finnish society and European Union and understands their significance especially in the rehabilitation context. S/He knows well the rights and obligations of a citizen related to legislation. She/he is able to present trough her/his assignments critical and independent thinking.
S/he knows the the impact possibilities of the citizen.
