Objective

The students know the client's rights and their own responsibility in service counselling. The students try and use legislation and service system competence in social counselling and in multiprofessional cooperation. The students have advanced knowledge on the entity of social legislation, particularly from the viewpoint of data privacy and secrecy. The students can retrieve legislation information and apply it in service counselling in the different areas of sociocultural client work and as decision makers. The students know the prerequisites and application practices of individual and family service counselling model in social care and multiprofessional cooperation.

Qualifications

The students know the basics of basic social security, social security counselling and social legislation. They also have sufficient knowledge on the methods of client work and on special services.
