Objective

The student understands the meaning of arts, handicraft, music and physical action in the development and wellbeing of children and adolescent. S/he has both theoretical knowledge and pedagogical and methodological skills in planning, guiding and evaluating group action for children of different age.

Content

The art, music and physical education of children and adolescent. The methods, tools and materials in visual expression and handicraft. Musical working methods. The methods in basic physical action. Planning, guiding and evaluation of group action in practice.

Qualifications

The student has general knowledge of creative expression in health-and social care.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

A Excellent 5: The student has excellent theoretical competence in creative expressive methods. S/He shows creative and innovative problem solving and expressive skills in all fields of creative methods. The student is critical and capable to develop his/her practical counseling skills in client work.
B Very good 4: The student has large theoretical competence in creative expressive methods S/He shows creative problem solving skills and expressive skills in all fields of creative methods. The student is capable to develop his/her practical counseling skills in client work.
C Good 3: The student has good theoretical competence and understanding in creative expressive methods. S/He shows creative and good problem solving skills in all fields of expressive methods. The student is capable to develop his/her practical counseling skills in client work.
D Satisfactory 2, The student is capable to organize and assess creative expressive activities in client work.
E Sufficient 1: S/He has basic problem solving and expressive skills in creative methods.
