Objective
The student demonstrates the ability to identify the factors that have an influence on health and well-being.
The student understands the role of health and social services (public, private and third-sector) and the supplementary benefit system as protectors of health and well-being.
The student knows the most essential legislation relating to health and social services.
The student knows the most essential public health concerns and risks for well-being and understands the significance of their prevention.
The student is able to find information about the health and well-being of population by using different indicators.
The student knows the responsibilities and obligations of an employee at the field of health and social services.

The most essential indicators of health and well-being
The most essential health, social and rehabilitation services, funding, legislation, supplementary benefit system and different ways of creating services.

Pass: KNOWLEDGE: The student is able to look at factors influencing wellbeing and the whole of wellbeing services and understands their significance from the perspective of customers and employees. SKILLS: The student is able to individually apply proactive methods to factors presenting a risk to health and wellbeing.
GENERAL COMPETENCE: The student demonstrates an entrepreneurial work approach and understands the significance of cultural differences in various operating environments.
Fail: KNOWLEDGE: The student does not understand the whole of wellbeing services, nor their basic tasks and customer activities. SKILLS: The student is unable to apply proactive methods to factors presenting a risk to health and wellbeing. GENERAL COMPETENCE: The student does not assume responsibility for passing learning assignments, tests and examinations acceptably.
