Objective
The students can recognise and face particularly the mental health and intoxicant abuse problems of children and youth. They understand the connection of the problems with lack of support in growth and learning environments. The students know and use the current challenges of national mental health and intoxicant abuse programme and can exploit their skills in a multiprofessional environment.
Content
Early recognition, interference, care and rehabilitation of children's and youth's mental health problems. Intoxicant abuse of different aged people and its connection with social exclusion and crises of the individual and family. Overlapping illnesses and related rehabilitation challenges. Contents emphasised based on participants' wishes.
Qualifications
Basics of mental health and intoxicant abuse problems and crises in the different stages of human life.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The students show competence in accordance with the course objectives in course assignments.
