Automation Systems 1 (4cr)

Objective

The students know the structure, operation and implementation of distributed, digital automation systems regarding both hardware and software.
They are able to program basic measurements, controls and adjustments, to create application modules, and to test operations. They are able to program the basic operations of laboratory processes.

Content

Central contents include programming design for process and control stations, the HW structure of automation systems, field buses and field equipment. Exercises with automation laboratory devices.
