Objective
The students perceive their future professional field and its production enterprises, forming an overall picture of production as part of a company’s business operations and of the significance of quality as a competitive tool.
                    
Content
Mastery of the principles of productivity and profitability. Success factors in production, such as the tools of cost efficiency, quality production ability, supply ability, and flexibility. Production types, production network, the parts of a production system, and the flow of manufacture. Production information systems. The basic approach of quality engineering, its application to practice, and the significance of quality systems and product liability. The cooperation between product development and production activities. Maintenance.
