Management of Quality (6cr)

Objective

The students are able to plan, implement and manage projects to improve the quality rate.

Content

Total Quality Management (TQM): quality thinking, major quality improvement tools, development of the inspection and condition monitoring methods of production machinery, statistical process analysis (e.g. SPC) and risk analyses (FMEA, development of operating processes (including the management of the quality of the suppliers and sub-contractors)

Basic understanding of production technology and systems
