Objective
The students understand entrepreneurial activity and the operating environment as an entity, as well as their interdependence, have a basic knowledge of entrepreneurship, company forms, and how ideas are developed into success innovations. They know the basics of corporate taxation, corporate economy, marketing, customer service, and the legislation on entrepreneurial activity and employment. The course also includes a familiarization with the basic issues of national economy, particularly from the perspective of logistics.
Content
The significance of logistics for national economy, in Finland and in the EU. Entrepreneurship and business activity. Innovation development mechanisms. Establishing a company. Basics of business economics, marketing and customer service. Main regulations on business activity. The business plan process with financial calculations. The course provides enough information on entrepreneurship to qualify the participants for goods traffic business.

Active class participation, business plan and group assignment reports and presentations, exam.
